The M.Tech. (CSE) is two year full time course and is intended to fill an existing gap within the industries and academic institution of trained professionals. The students will be well trained in both the theoretical and application aspects of computer science and engineering. The M.Tech. programme in Computer Science and Engineering imparts a breadth of advanced knowledge in various areas of computer science. The programme is designed in such a way that a student could cope up in the field of research and Industry. 
Computer Science is a diverse field with its foundations in the key skill of programming, a deeply creative and analytical skill. It deals with the theoretical study of problems, their structure and properties as they relate to some abstract computational device.

The curriculum is aimed to give theoretical and hands on experience in the areas of Advances in Operating Systems, Advances in DBMS, Advances in Computer Systems Architecture, Data Structures & Algorithm Design, Internetworking with TCP/ IP, Advanced JAVA  Programming, Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems, Cryptography and Network Security, Distributed Systems, Soft Computing, Software Design and Architecture and elective subjects as Modeling and Simulation, Embedded Systems, Speech and Natural Language Processing, Software Project Management, Knowledge Engineering, Bio Informatics, Digital Image Processing, Information Retrieval Systems, Semantic Web, Ad-hoc and Sensor Networks, Cloud Computing, Mobile and Pervasive Computing.
