The Department of Electrical Engineering in GEHU Dehradun believes in enhancing the technical knowledge of its students by embracing workshops, industrial visits and guest lectures as an integral element of the teaching methodology adopted.
A step towards the same has been the Robotics Workshop MAKE in November 2014 organized in association with Turag Society to provide students of B.Tech EE of GEHU dehradun a hands-on understanding of the various integral aspects of robotics.
Such workshops have been embraced in totality as a part of the teaching methodology in the Department of Electrical Engineering at GEHU Dehradun.One day workshop was conducted on VIRTUAL LAB in collaboration with IIT Roorkee which saw Mr. Vinod Kumar, Deputy Director (Indian Institute of Technology - Roorkee) giving an Introductory Talk to kickstart the workshop.
Additionally, Industrial Visits are organized at regular intervals throughout the year to enable students to gain an insight into the trends and requirements of the world of academia and industry
