Inception to Perfection Orientation Program
The School of Management Studies of GEHU, Dehradun believes in providing an insight into the corporate world by constant interactions round the academic year with eminent members of the Industry as well as organzing Industrial Visits so as to enable students to gain first hand knowledge of the Industry and its various behavioral and managerial aspects thereby enhancing a graduate' / post graduates' employability quotient.
One such step towards acheiving the same is the Inception to Perfection Orientation Program organized by the School of Management Studies of GEHU, Dehradun
In July, 2015, the School of Management Studies of GEHU Dehrdaun organized a week long "Inception to Perfection Orientation Programme" which saw the likes of Prof. Dwarika Prasad Uniyal (professor,IIM,Kashipur)
enlightening the young graduates about the things how to be create perfection in the corporate world;
Mr. Shashi Rajan (GM- HR ONGC) interacting with the audience on “Preparedness of a Management Graduate for better employability prospects”; CA Verender Kalra (Co-chairman, PHD chamber of commerce , Uttarakhand) sharing knowledge about the Indian economy at present and generating future employability for management graduates;
Mr. Gautam,(AVP,Axis Bank) on opportunities in the banking sector and many more prominent personalities of the corporate world interacting with MBA students
The 6-Day Orientation program “Inception to Perfection" of 2014 saw Ms. Mona Puri (Director , Human Resource , Asia Pacific , Inventive Health Clinic , Gurgaon) enlightening the young graduates about the 7 things required to become successful in the corporate world like ethics , behavior , skills; Mr. Shashi Rajan (GM- HR ONGC) on “Preparedness of a Management Graduate for better employability prospects” and Mr. Anil Jaggi (CEO – Green Earth Alliance , chairman – CSR committee, PHD Chamber of Commerce, Uttarakhand) who enlightened students about the Corporate social responsibility one must follow to create a better and safer Industrial environment.
The students were additionally taken on an industrial visit to Titan Industry (Manufacturing plant) situated at Mohabewala , Dehradun and
Honeywell industry (Manufacturing Plant), situated at Selaqui where students were shown the various manufacturing and assembling processes
The School of Management at GEHU in order to promote true learning and to ease the campus- to- corporate transition, has been associated with several eminent organizations like
CII (Confederation of Indian Industry), IAU (Industries Association of Uttarakhand) and PhD Chamber of Commerce . School of Management at Graphic Era Hill University has been actively participating with these organizations to provide the students an opportunity so as to provide them an insight into the workings of an Industry by means of organizing various academic and co-curricular activities, to see first- hand the functioning of these industries by means of training programs and industrial visits as well as to provide a unique industry- academic interface.
Additionally, the School of Management at GEHU jointly works with IDBI, Future Group (Big Bazaar) and Reliance Retail
to provide training and internship opportunities to its graduates as well as post graduate candidates.
