Importance of Pranayam and Meditation for Reducing Stress and Anxiety

School of Management, Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal, organized an Alumnus Interaction session with Mr. Harsh Vardhan Mahara on “Importance of Pranayam and Meditation for Reducing Stress and Anxiety”. Mr. Harsh Vardhan is an alumnus of the BBA 2017-2020 batch and is a certified Yoga Instructor empanelled by brands like Decathlon & Cross Fit.He hosted an enlightening session on the importance of Pranayam and meditation for managing stress and anxiety. Mr. Harsh pointed out that people work on reducing stress but not on the root cause of stress, that is, overthinking. He demonstrated how this problem can be uprooted through deep breathing and mental yoga. Participants learned valuable techniques to calm the mind, reduce tension, and enhance overall well-being. He also emphasized that along with adopting yoga for a healthy lifestyle, it can be a wonderful career choice.
