Under the visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Ghanshala, President, Graphic Era Group of Institutions, GEHU, Bhimtal Campus, is hosting a two-day International Conference on Advances in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Technologies (CE2CT-2025), which is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section.
The conference commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. Campus Director, Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal welcomed the guests, highlighting the campus’s rich history and expressing pride in hosting the conference, which will foster idea exchange among experts and students.
Guest of Honour, Dr. Deepak L. Waikar, Chair of IEEE Education Society, Singapore, drew a poetic analogy between the conference and the Triveni Sangam, describing it as the “Mahakumbh of Education and Knowledge.”
Dr. Vineet Saini, Chief Guest and Senior Scientist at the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, started his address with a Sanskrit quote, “Athaho Brahm Jigyasa”—meaning “Now is the time to inquire about the Absolute Truth.” He also emphasized various technological advancements in the country, especially in the field of solar energy.
Keynotes included Dr. Mayur Kumar Chhipa (ISBAT University, Uganda) on photonics, Dr. Arun Kumar Singh (Rajkiya Engineering College, Kannauj) on sustainable growth, Dr. Saroj D. Waikar (ASCP Singapore Advisory Board) on AI in biomedical sciences, and Prof. Vandna Rani Verma leading the IEEE WIE session.
The event will showcase over 250 research papers on Energy, Sustainability, and Net Zero.
The day concluded with the release of the conference souvenir and presentation of mementos to the distinguished speakers. Meanwhile, the campus blossomed with a vibrant flower show, where local self-help groups showcased regional plants and artifacts.
