Vision, Mission & Objectives of CCDL, GEHU

Vision

To emerge as a leading South Asia and Emerging Markets case development and learning centre, shaping management learning globally by bringing forward regionally grounded, inter-disciplinary context rich business narratives.

Mission
  • To develop original, contextually relevant case studies rooted in contemporary business and management issues from South Asia and Emerging Economies.
  • To build faculty capacity for case writing and case teaching methodologies.
  • To collaborate with industry partners to capture real organizational challenges and innovations.
  • To disseminate cases to academic and practitioner communities through workshops, publications, and online repositories.
  • To foster and cultivate cross-border academic and industry collaboration for case development.
  • To create a recognized portfolio of teaching and research cases along with instructor notes that enable students worldwide to understand management practices in South Asian and Emerging Markets.
Objectives
  • Create a repository of high-quality teaching cases across functional management domains.
  • Conduct training programs for faculty and research scholars in case writing and case instruction methods.
  • Establish industry and institutional linkages and collaborations to source case leads and engage with executives in the co-development process.
  • Develop repositories of case studies and teaching notes with national and international academic distributors.

Structure of CCDL

Dr. Mishra has more than twenty years of experience in teaching, training, and research in the areas of finance, corporate governance, and small business management. He is an award-winning case author and has published 20+ research papers and case studies with reputed publishers. Earlier, he served as a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Financial Services Marketing (Palgrave Macmillan/Springer) and has been a reviewer for numerous journals. He is an affiliate member of the MIT Alumni Association, Boston, USA, and has been a visiting faculty member at the Indian Institute of Management, Jammu.

India Case Research Centre, AIMA, New Delhi
CCDL, GEHU has entered into Memorandum of Cooperation with India Case Research Centre (ICRC), AIMA, New Delhi for building capacity in Case based pedagogy, access to AIMA ICRC case repository to GEHU faculty, co-development of case studies and joint projects in the mutual area of interests
