Doctoral Programs

A Ph.D. degree is awarded in recognition of high achievements and independent research and application of scientific knowledge to solving technical and scientific problems. Creative and productive enquiry is the basic concept underlying the research work.

The university offers Doctoral study in various research areas of Engineering, Sciences and all courses based on the guidelines of UGC. Admissions are on the basis of GATE/NET/SLET scores or written test followed by interview by the Department concerned with due attention to National/State Reservation.

PH.D. IN COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING

Program Details:
Research areas: Computer Vision, Parallel Computing, Data Mining, Big Data Storage Analysis, Cloud Computing, Ad-Hoc Networks, Image Processing, Machine Learning, Cognitive Radios, Data Analytics. Software Engineering.
Eligibility Master’s Degree from any AIU/UGC/AICTE recognized University/ Institutions or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study notified from time to time by the University. A minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination (50% marks or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10 point scale for SC/ST candidates).

Admission Procedure GEU Entrance Test Merit /Candidates qualified with M.Phil./GATE/NET/SLET/other National Level Eligibility Test OR working in recognized Universities/Institutes/Research centres having hands-on research experience and having the evidence of published research work can be exempted from written test and they have to appear for the interview only
