
A Sip of Learning: Tea Tasting with Hospitality Education
The Department of Hotel & Hospitality Management organized an engaging and enriching tea tasting workshop for its students, designed to introduce them to the diverse and nuanced world of tea while enhancing their appreciation of its cultural and gastronomic importance.
The workshop showcased a thoughtfully curated selection of teas, including classic English breakfast, delicate jasmine, pepper mint, calming camomile, earl grey providing students with a rich and varied sensory experience. Through guided tastings and interactive discussions, participants gained insights into the distinctive characteristics of each variety, learning to identify flavors, aromas, and appropriate brewing & serving techniques.
The successful execution of the workshop reflected the department’s commitment to offering holistic, experiential learning opportunities that extend beyond traditional classroom instruction.
