Pasta LA Fiesta – Masterclass on Pasta & Pizza Preparation

The “Pasta La Fiesta – Pasta & Pizza Masterclass”, organised by Department of Hotel and Hospitality Management, GEHU Haldwani, turned out to be a flavorful and enriching experience for all participants!

From kneading perfect pizza dough to preparing fresh pasta from scratch, students actively engaged in every step of the process under expert guidance.

What Participants Learned:

  • Techniques of dough preparation and fermentation.
  • Crafting fresh pasta with the right texture and consistency.
  • Understanding sauces, toppings, and flavor balancing.
  • Plating and presentation skills.
  • Kitchen hygiene and professional baking practices.

Beyond baking, the session cultivated teamwork, creativity, and precision. The kitchen, filled with the aroma of fresh pizzas and savory sauces, made learning truly delightful.

The workshop successfully bridged classroom learning with real-world culinary skills, reinforcing the department’s commitment to experiential education.
