
The Department of hotel & hospitality Management successfully organized a Flower Arrangement Workshop on the Pre Eve of National Tourism Day. The workshop was conducted to provide students with hands-on exposure to the art of flower arrangement while nurturing creativity, aesthetic appreciation, and practical skills.
Flower arrangement plays a vital role in enhancing ambience and guest experience. Keeping this in view, the workshop was designed to familiarize students with the significance of floral décor and its practical application in professional hospitality settings. The session offered students an opportunity to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world industry practices.
Resource person Mr. Mohit Samuel from Taj Corbett Resort & Spa demonstrated various techniques, principles, and styles of flower arrangement commonly used in premium hospitality establishments. The workshop included live demonstrations, interactive discussions, and guided practice sessions, ensuring active student participation.
The workshop resulted in enhanced creative skills, improved understanding of aesthetic presentation, and increased student engagement.
