After doing B.Pharm. from Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology, and qualifying GATE, Dr. Kumar done his M. Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, and a Ph.D. from B.R.A.B. University, Muzaffarpur. Awarded Junior Research Fellowship by the University Grant Commission (UGC), Department of Human Resource Development (HRD), Ministry of Health, New Delhi, India (1996-1998). I have more than twenty-four years of teaching and research experience during which he has guided more than thirty Post Graduate students and one Ph.D. student as well. As a Chairman of the Board of Studies, he got the opportunity to revise the course curriculum of B. Pharmacy/M. Pharmacy of M.M. University according to the need of the industry. As a Chairman of the Departmental Research Committee, he encouraged the research work at the Institute. He has organized various national seminars, as convenor/coordinator successfully, which is evident in his leadership quality. He has contributed about fifty research/review papers in reputed journal of high impact factor. His prime area of research is Instrumental method of analysis and Phytochemical analysis. He is a reviewer of various Journals like: Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Research etc.
