Graphic Era Hill University marked India’s 78th Independence Day with a series of spirited celebrations across its Dehradun, Haldwani, and Bhimtal campuses. United under the tricolor, the day began with a solemn flag hoisting ceremony led by Madam Rakhee Ghanshala, Vice Chairperson of the Graphic Era Group of Institutions, who emphasized the transformative power of education in nation-building. At GEHU Dehradun, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Jasola inspired all to embrace the ‘Make in India’ initiative, reinforcing the role of education in shaping a visionary and disciplined youth. The Haldwani campus resonated with vibrant cultural performances, including a mesmerizing patriotic musical by Team Nanda, whose stirring rendition earned them a prize of ₹21,000. Meanwhile, GEHU Bhimtal's festivities featured a proud NCC march, an inspection by the Campus Director, and a colorful cultural program led by enthusiastic student performers. The day concluded with the entire Graphic Era community echoing the chants of ‘भा रत मा ता की जय!’ as they departed with renewed patriotic fervor.
