Demonstrating its unwavering focus on academic excellence and ethical scholarship, the Department of Physics in
collaboration with the Research & Development Cell, Graphic Era Hill University, organized a highly insightful lecture
on “Upholding Integrity: Navigating the Essentials of Research and Publication Ethics.” The session was delivered by
Prof. Sanjay Sharma, FRSC, Dean (R&D), JECRC University, Jaipur—an eminent academician and expert in research
governance. Addressing research scholars and students actively involved in project work, Prof. Sharma provided a
comprehensive understanding of ethical practices in scientific writing, the importance of authenticity in research data,
and the consequences of academic misconduct.
His expert guidance emphasized the growing relevance of transparency, authorship norms, and peer-review protocols in
contemporary research landscapes. The session significantly contributed to strengthening the research mindset of the
