In a commendable step towards experiential legal education, the School of Law, Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun,
organized a field visit for VIII semester students to the Labour Court at Sewla Kalan, Majra. Designed to complement
classroom learning with real-world exposure, the visit provided students with a first-hand understanding of labour law
proceedings and dispute resolution mechanisms.

The educational tour allowed students to witness live hearings and observe the procedural dynamics of labour courts,
including the presentation of evidence, examination of witnesses, and judicial conduct. The visit served as a crucial
learning opportunity, fostering greater awareness of how labour laws are applied in practice and offering a deeper
insight into judicial interpretation and workers’ rights. Such expert-guided initiatives are pivotal in preparing
students to navigate the complexities of legal systems and instill professional competence, thereby aligning academic
study with practical legal proficiency.
