Dr. Harshita Negi is a distinguished researcher and academic specializing in genetics and plant breeding. She has a Ph.D. in Agriculture from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. Her doctoral research explored genetic diversity, carbon sequestration, and DNA barcoding in bamboo species from Uttarakhand’s Tarai and Sub-Himalayan regions, highlighting her focus on sustainable agricultural practices. An award-winning scholar, Harshita has received several prestigious recognitions, including the Young Scientist Award and Best Thesis Award in 2023. She has contributed extensively to scientific literature, with numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and patents emphasizing advancements in agricultural genetics, biotechnology, and eco-friendly innovations. Harshita has over two years of teaching experience at Graphic Era Hill University and actively participates in international and national conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs. Her work is further enriched by hands-on experience in crop production, industrial training, and leadership roles in academic and extracurricular initiatives. Her dedication to advancing sustainable agricultural practices, her strong academic foundation, and innovative contributions make her a prominent figure in her field.
