The much-anticipated ‘Shabdavali’ Hindi Literature Festival, jointly organized by Graphic Era Hill University and Valley of Words, commenced with grandeur and scholarly fervor. The inaugural ceremony featured the release of the Hindi translation of Dr. Sanjeev Chopra's book, "Hum Bharat Ke Rajyon Ke Log," which was graced by eminent scholars and writers. Distinguished guests namely Surveyor General of India Shri Hitesh Kumar Makwana, Dr.Praveen Shukla, Shri Laxmi Shankar Bajpai (senior poet), and Dr. Sanjeev Chopra (Director, Valley of Words) illuminated the event with their presence. On the second day, the festival buzzed with literary energy as renowned writers and poets such as Ramita Gurav, Indu Pandey, Sushil Upadhyay, Prabhat Singh, Indrajeet Singh,Upasana, Neelesh Raghuvanshi, Nand Lal Bharti, Beena Benjwal, Nand Kishore Hatwal, and others engaged the audience in discussions about their works. Each guest was honored with shawls, further enhancing the celebratory atmosphere. This confluence of literature, culture,and ideas provided participants with an inspiring experience.
The festival’s culmination brought together authors, translators, and literature lovers who explored a wide range of topics, from Bhagat Singh’s ideologies to Guru Nanak’s teachings.The melodious flute performance by Suraj Kumar enchanted attendees, creating a captivating ambiance.
