H₂O Movement: Graphic Era’s Inspiring Walk for Water Conservation

In a profound effort to address water conservation, Graphic Era Hill University, in collaboration with the Civil Engineering Department of Graphic Era Deemed University, launched the H₂O Movement: Walk for Water. This impactful event saw spiritual leader Swami Chidanand Saraswati, President of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh, emphasizing lifestyle shifts for water conservation and highlighting the vital role students play in fostering a sustainable, green future.

Dr. Bharat Fisher, Chairman of the Give Life Foundation, spoke about the critical need for a bone marrow registry, while Padma Shri Kalyan Singh Rawat, founder of the Maiti Andolan, raised awareness about Uttarakhand’s urgent water crisis. Contributions by spiritual leader Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati and social activist Sanjana Jon further emphasized ethical consumerism as a path to combat water scarcity.
