On 27th and 28th September 2024, Graphic Era Hill University hosted a dynamic Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme in collaboration with NIESBUD and the Research and Innovation Cell for Entrepreneurship (RICE). With over 200 students in attendance, the event provided a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to engage with industry experts and gain valuable insights.
Dr. Poonam Sinha, Director of NIESBUD, opened the program by discussing the government's initiatives to support startups, and emphasizing GEHU's significant role in nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset among students. Inspirational talks by Mr. B.S. Sajwan and Mr. Dev Suman motivated participants to consider their own entrepreneurial paths.
The program was meticulously coordinated by Dr. Jyoti Chabra, with co-coordinators Mr.Saumitra Chattopadhyay and Dr. Manpreet Singh. This initiative not only enriched students’understanding of entrepreneurship but also fostered a collaborative spirit, making the event a resounding success.
