Dr. Ayush Painuly, a dedicated academician and researcher from Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Graphic Era Hill University. With a strong academic foundation and a passion for teaching, he brings over 4 years of combined teaching and research experience to the university. Dr. Painuly completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand in 2024. He holds an M.Tech. in Energy System Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Graphic Era University.

Dr. Painuly specializes in Fluids and Thermal Sciences, with a focus on heat transfer, nanofluids (including non-Newtonian hybrid nanofluids), CFD analysis, and combustion. His research spans Nanofluids, Biofuels, Energy, and Combustion, contributing to both academic and industrial advancements. A five-time GATE qualifier, he adopts a student-centric, practical teaching approach, utilizing tools like ANSYS Fluent, SolidWorks, and Solid Edge to bridge theory and real-world applications. He has published in SCI-indexed journals and presented at notable national and international conferences, supporting the university’s mission of fostering innovation, excellence, and industry-ready education.
