Dr. Naveen Nandal | Faculty Mathematics

Dr. Naveen Nandal is a faculty member in the field of Statistics, with six years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He holds Bachelor’s in Mathematics & M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Statistics from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. His academic and research interests include Reliability Theory and Modeling, Actuarial Statistics, Sampling Techniques, Statistical Methods, Data Analysis and R Programming. Dr. Nandal has published more than 26 research papers, including papers indexed in Scopus and Web of Science and has contributed to scholarly books and edited volumes in the areas of statistical modeling, optimization, reliability and data science.

 

He is a recipient of the IARS Young Best Research Paper Award (2024). He has served as an EC Member of the IARS and is a Life Member of IARS and ISPS. He has also contributed to the academic community as a reviewer for several international journals, including journals in Statistics, Reliability, Mathematics, Biometrics, Safety and Reliability, and Official Statistics. His academic activities include research, teaching, student mentoring, conference participation, and organizing academic events, with a focus on promoting statistical thinking and practical applications of Statistics.
