VFX Innovation in Filmmaking: A Transformative 5-Day Workshop at GEHU

The Department of Animation and Gaming at Graphic Era Hill University recently hosted an engaging and insightful five-day workshop on "VFX Innovation in Filmmaking," conducted by Mr. Ashish Goyal. From mastering essential tools, software, and user interfaces to learning advanced techniques like Rotoscope, Cleanup, Match Move, and Compositing, students were immersed in the fascinating world of VFX. They explored iconic scenes from movies like RRR and Bajirao Mastani and received hands-on experience in Cleanup in Nuke, enhancing their skills in removing unwanted elements from raw footage. This enriching workshop, concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Ananda Karmakar, undoubtedly expanded the students’ creative horizons and provided them with valuable knowledge to excel in their academic and professional journeys.
