Honoring the spirit of democracy, Graphic Era Hill University celebrated the 76th Republic Day across its Dehradun,
Bhimtal, and Haldwani campuses with deep patriotism and a commitment to national values. At the Dehradun campus, the
national flag was unfurled by Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Sharma, Vice Chancellor, GEHU, alongside Prof. (Dr.) Narpinder Singh,
Vice Chancellor, GEU, and Dr. Dinesh Joshi, Registrar, GEHU. In his address, Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Sharma emphasized the
significance of the Constitution and urged institutions to instill moral and ethical values in students. A 10-hour
course on the Constitution of India was announced, along with an outreach initiative to educate 10,000 people across 100
villages. The Bhimtal campus witnessed an impressive NCC parade, reviewed by Prof. (Col.) Anil Kumar Nair (Retd.),
Director, GEHU, Bhimtal, followed by cultural performances and speeches celebrating India’s democratic values. The
Haldwani campus resonated with patriotic fervor, where students and faculty united to pay tribute to the Constitution
and the nation’s progress. The event reinforced Graphic Era’s dedication to nation-building, education, and civic
responsibility, instilling a renewed sense of purpose in the university community.
